  • "They easily accommodated our party of 7. This was the first time, and we all would love to go back. Our server was wonderful, funny, nice, and knowledgeable about the menu to help some of us who couldn't decide. A few of us got their 5-course meal and it was extraordinary! Food portions were perfect. Hats off to the chef!"

  • "The first time that I brought friends, they were very impressed. This time I brought a different set of friends. They were also very impressed. Nothing more to say."

  • "This must be one of the few valley buildings that have survived from the '70s and it looks it from the outside but when you enter the door it is transformed to a beautiful formal dining room with tuxedo clad waiters who serve with high style. The food is consistently wonderful at prices a few notches below the casino bistros. Wine is an exceptional value and a do it yourself salad is included with every meal. There is always a price fix option with four courses that makes the already reasonable prices even more affordable."

  • "Get away from the fake glitz and carbon copy hotel/casino restaurants and have a memorable meal in a beautiful room with impeccable service. Pamplemousse is in a one-story adobe cottage at the north end of The Strip. The dining rooms are divided into small cozy areas, with well-spaced tables. The lighting is warm, soft, and golden and the furnishings are comfortable, elegant French Provencal decor. We chose a Grand Cru Saint-Estèphe Bordeaux wine for under $80. Silky smooth and delicious. Our five-course prix fixe menu was $56. Every course was rich, fragrant and flavorful. Service was impeccable. Proprietor George La Forge came to every table to chat, a nice personal touch in an impersonal town."

  • "Pamplemousse is a true Las Vegas gem. Anyone that goes to he big casino steakhouses is missing out and probably spending more money. Years ago ago a world traveller friend brought me here as his favorite restaurant in the world. I agree and have been coming back for a decade, bring my own friends and family here. I've had most items on the menu and continue to be amazed. The lamb shank will be a diss appointment if you choose to order it at ANY OTHER restaurant. Also the the very very good cordon bleu is light and mouthwatering."

  • "They don't make 'em like this anymore. Who knew such a charming throwback was to be found off the Vegas strip? If you're a fan of French food the way it used to be served long ago, do not miss Pamplemousse. We had the best French meal /date in years tonight. Pamplemousse is absolutely excellent, from the service to the fabulous food, French music and Frank Sinatra playing in the background. The foie gras, along with Pierre's suggested glasses of Sauterne were simply to die for. Not a tourist trap, this is the perfect neighborhood "classy" restaurant."
